There are 2 versions of Telephone Sockets:Telephone Masters and Telephone Slaves. Telephone Masters are the primary unit, to replace the main telephone socket (i.e: the main socket where the BT wire comes into the property). Telephone Slaves are the secondary units to replace telephone extension sockets (i.e: telephone sockets that spur from Master). This product is a Slave unit.
