This is a quality Varilight™ transformer that was first launched to provide a trouble-free solution when used in conjunction with any of the Intelligent Dimmers or Touch/Remote Dimmers which uses a soft start technology that extends lamp life and product life.[maximum load as specified on dimmer].

Varilight™ Standard Dimmers can also be used on low voltage transformers but these do not have the same qualities as Intelligent or Touch/Remote Dimmers. [Note: The Standard dimmers are not soft start].
