    Here at 1StopElectrics we really do care about our impact on the environment, this is not simply a statement to create a good company image, it is something we all believe in and will always work towards to minimise our carbon footprint, waste levels and use of valuable resources.

     There are many things that we do here at 1StopElectrics to reduce our impact on the environment, many of these may seem like small processes but will all help towards the bigger picture. There are also some significant procedures that we follow, which include:-

            + We are sited right next to the manufacturer, a 10 second walk, and we are picking the orders without the need for vehicles.

            + We use packaging that is recycled from other local companies. This is all collected by us on foot and includes boxes, bubble wrap, and packing foam. We ask our customers to carry on this recycling process by either, reusing the packaging or recycling it in a suitable way.

            +Our 'bubble' padded bags, that we send the products in, are not written on, or taped, so they can easily be reused many times. We are starting to phase out these type of bubble wrap mail bags, and instead are using the much greener jiffy padded bags, which can either be used more times than its' predecessor or composted. Please bear with us whilst we deplete our old stocks of bags.
           
            +We produce minimal waste, which we aim to either recycle or reuse.

            + The paper we use is from a recycled source. We have streamlined 1StopElectrics' processes in 2008, therefore resulting in two thirds less paper being used.

            + The Clam-Shell/Oyster that the Decorative products are packed in, can be recycled too.

            + As well as selling and promoting the use of dimmable energy saving bulbs, they are used throughout our office and despatch facility.

            + The courier that 1StopElectrics uses, APC, are committed to protecting the environment too, their courier bags are all made from recycled materials.

   We are doing our 'bit' to help to reduce the impact on the environment. Our customers can feel happy that by buying products from 1StopElectrics, causes the least amount of damage to the environment than any other company who sell similar products.
